We have had the privilege of serving in Nicaragua for 6 years primarily in the construction of the ABWE Ministry Center. Since returning from our furlough in January 2008, Steve has had the opportunity to get involved with the ABWE Institute of Church Planting (ICP). The ICP is a two-year program to teach, train, and mentor Nicaraguan men to become pastors and plant churches. Currently the ABWE team is working with a group of Baptist churches who send men enrolled in their Bible Institute. The men meet at the Center for 3-5 days for classes and then spend time in the field holding evangelistic outreach and visitation in the communities in which God has laid on their hearts to plant churches.
Terri is involved in ministering at the Nicaragua Christian Academy where she serves on the Board of Directors. NCA is comprised of 2 schools in Managua, one English-speaking campus, the other Spanish-speaking. For more information about NCA, you can visit www.nca.edu.ni.
Additionally we have had the opportunity to host ministry and construction teams from the US and serve in several church planting ministries in various capacities. If you have interest in bringing a team to Nicaragua, please feel free to contact us.
Thanks for taking the time to visit our website and learn more about Nicaragua and the ministries in which we serve.
